Welcome to The Official Website of Ehoah
Ehoah is a naturalistic endeavor to ensure the connections we make within Nature are harmonious. It is developed as an open ended framework that can be integrated into any philosophy or belief system desired or taken as its own. That way diversity is preserved.
The Three Basic Tenets of Ehoah:
'Through Nature fulfillment can be found'
'Nature, being inseparable from humanity's existence,
is important in human pursuits'
'As humans are a part of Nature,
it is important to ensure our connections within it are harmonious'
If you agree with the Three Basic Tenets then you are a Saegoah - a Seeker of Ehoah (Complete Harmony within Nature) (Saeg is the root word for 'seek') and that is all that is required of you to be one as agreeing with this you would naturally actively endeavor to ensure all your connections within Nature are harmonious; in everything you do and use; maintaining an awareness of and respect for our interconnections; and creating a lifestyle that reflects this. It is a process that is continually improved upon with no end point.
Ehoah is based on a naturalistic foundation - having no focus on the supernatural in general. Neither does it focus on any ancestral culture. This creates a baseline where what is currently found to be consistent through science is the foundation that each individual or group can build on top of in their own way.
Everything outside the Three Basic Tenets is optional, basically being guidelines or sources of inspiration within the Ehoah philosophy.
A basic approach to start off is to take a step back from what is 'normal' and questioning what normal should be in reflection of living harmoniously within Nature and go from there.
It has an open ended approach like this to encourage interactive diversity. This is because in interactive diversity there is resilience, adaptability, and harmony among its participants, as expressed throughout Nature. If not interactive in its diversity it would become isolated pockets that could fall into dysfunction, which is also expressed throughout Nature.
The following quote is sometimes used to summarize the outlook of Saegoahs, "There is no one right way, as there are many paths to the same destination; you just need to choose the path that works best for you, even if it means blazing it."
The different pages on this site will provide more information about Ehoah and some various methods of approach.
Ecocide is already an international crime during wartime. According to 8.2.b (iv) of the Rome Statute it is a crime to “intentionally launch an attack in the knowledge that such attack will cause…widespread, long-term and severe damage to the natural environment…” During peacetime no such crime exists. This is an effort to close that legal loophole.
"SURVIVAL INTERNATIONAL’s unprecedented success in helping the world’s most vulnerable tribes secure their future has depended heavily on legacies from supporters. For many years Survival has had to spend more on urgent campaigns than supporters are able to give. To save tribes from being wiped out, we often need to provide crucial help at short notice and cannot wait to raise the necessary funds."
